I've had a great week getting back to my passion for Protocol getting to participate in the Protocol Officers Association Annual Forum this year here in DC. Yesterday, we were hosted for lunch at Blair House, the official guest house of the United States by my friend Rufus Gifford, on his penultimate day as Chief of Protocol of the United States. It was also great to connect with Ambassador Stewart Wheeler, Canada's Chief of Protocol who is also leaving his post this month as he and his husband prepare to move to India for his next posting.
